Pain Reprocessing Therapy | Chronic Pain Treatment SYDNEY

Let's forget about pain

Chronic Pain that won't go? Your pain is real.

... and there could be a reason it won't go away.

Most people in chronic pain have tried everything, but still don't have answers. Chronic pain often becomes neuroplastic, meaning your brain has learnt to produce pain signals. This can happen with no clear physical cause, or alongside an underlying condition or injury. The pain is real. It's not in your head. It's in your nervous system. Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) can help. PRT uses the latest neuroscience to gently retrain your brain and regulate your nervous system - helping you eliminate or reduce pain that hasn't responded to anything else.
Through this process you can:
  • ☆ Eliminate persistent pain using a mind-body approach ☆ Learn techniques to change how your brain interprets pain signals ☆ Help the nervous system feel safe and reduce pain

About Amu Satchi

Pain Reprocessing Therapy Practitioner

Online sessions & In Person

Your pain does not have to take over your life...
Hi, I’m Amu. I am a certified Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) practitioner. I have trained with leading experts in the field, including Alan Gordon, who developed PRT, and Dr Howard Schubiner, a world leader in mind-body medicine. Using PRT, I help you understand the science behind your symptoms, and gently retrain your brain’s response through psychoeducation, mind-body techniques, and somatic awareness. My journey into this work began when my teenage son developed Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). I saw firsthand how overwhelming and all-consuming chronic pain can be. He was hospitalised multiple times and given strong medications in an attempt to control the pain. Eventually he required an epidural for a week. He couldn’t feel his legs, but at least he didn't feel pain for that time. After trying multiple treatments without success, I discovered Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), and it changed everything. His pain resolved as his brain and nervous system learnt to process signals safely. That experience led me to train in PRT so I could help others find the same relief. Read my full story here →

How Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) can help

  • Have you tried everything from specialists and medication, to natural therapies and supplements but nothing seems to work?

  • You may have been targeting the wrong issue...

  • You may be focusing on the site of the pain, rather than how your nervous system is processing those pain signals.

  • PRT is short-term work. Typically people see results in weeks to a few months, not years.

  • Pain Reprocessing Therapy works by retraining how your brain processes pain signals. Instead of focusing only on the body, we work with your nervous system to reduce fear, increase safety, and calm the pain response. I liaise with your GP, physiotherapist, or other health professionals where helpful, to support your overall care. In sessions, I use: ➤ Pain education to help you understand the science behind your pain ➤ Somatic tracking and mind-body techniques ➤ Nervous system regulation. This helps your brain learn that the sensations are safe - allowing pain to reduce over time.
